David was a man with great passion. Sometimes those passions got him into trouble. But most of the time, his passion was for the Lord, and it was the very thing that propelled him to greater exploits.
David started a revolution of worship in Israel. The psalms are full of David's leadership in worship as he was the impetus of what may have been the greatest time of worship in all of Israel. Indeed as Solomon his son finished the temple that David wanted to build for the Lord, the presence of Jah was so strong, that men fell on their faces before the Lord.
We at Goliath's Sword want to take the weapon of the Giant Mammon over this land and use it against Him. We desire to raid the enemies camp and come back with provision for all that Jah wants to accomplish in this hour.
We believe worship is the greatest weapon we carry in our own arsenal, by which to defeat this enemy, Mammon. We will use spiritual weapons to raid the enemies store house.
God Bless in the New Year!

A Love Revolution
We at Goliath's Sword believe there are just a few main ingredients of restoration, missing in the church, and these missing graces are holding back the greatest movement of Jah ever known to man.
Are we really seeing the supernatural presence of God in this day?
We remember back to the time when Jesus said this:
Jhn 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
So what holds back the greater works of our Lord?
We believe there must be a repentance unto the kingdom. By that we mean, that it is the church which must repent, before we will see God's greater presence and power.
Although we do not believe much in formulas, I would borrow from a word given about 20 years ago, that the pattern is: Intimacy, Purity, Unity, Power.
We are right now in a great time of transition. In this present moment, our Lord is bringing back together some things and people that have long been separate.
One of the dynamics that will mark everything our lord does in this day is the presence of the Agape'. Without love we do not carry His Truth!
Ph 1:15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
1Th 5:13 And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. [And] be at peace among yourselves.
Eph 3:17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
Eph 3:18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what [is] the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
Eph 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Worship, Warfare, Praise, and Thanksgiving
The Band Goliath's Sword has a specific focus in its music. It is to portray before the world the worship, the warfare, the praise, and the thanksgiving, that is our consistent quest in this day.
We are on a vision quest. That quest is that Jah be glorified in all the earth. Our message to the church and the world is: Repent unto the Kingdom.

The Victory is at Hand
When David Defeated the Giant
When David met Goliath in battle he did so in a time when all Israel was cowering to Goliath’s taunts. Saul the man of the flesh offered David his armor. But David went with what was familiar to him, the sling shot and stones.
David had advanced in faith against great enemies through killing a lion and a bear while watching over his father’s sheep.
As David approached the battlefield he saw that the enemy Goliath the giant, had all of Israel gripped in fear. The giant was a great foe for sure, for he taunted any warrior of Israel to come and fight him in battle. None dared.
All Israel believed that to fight Goliath would be sure death. All but David.
Israel had given in to fear!
David found confidence, in God’s faithfulness in past battles. David was no doubt strong through his worship time in the fields of Israel, as he sat by night watching the flocks.
David took five stones and a sling with him to battle. So now, with one slung stone (a word) David brought down his enemy. Five represents God's grace. He always has reserve!
Now, there was a problem for David. The enemy had to be totally destroyed. David needed a sword to cut off the enemies head. If he'd of taken up Saul's offer, he would have had a weapon. But Saul's sword was disqualified, because of Saul's compromise with Samuel's word to "kill all the Philistines" in battle. Saul's sword would have been useless.
So David did a thing that most of us have not understood. To kill a giant, you bring him down with, "one God word", but you finish him off by owning his weapon, and using it on him for his total defeat!
At Goliath's Sword, we believe we are right now in a watching time before the next battle which is the one with the Giant. There is a need in this moment to look at our coming battle, and ask our Lord for strategies to win. There is a mounting conflict between the place and people of your former life and the place and people of your next assignment. It is important not to back down to the people who hold you back. They are the weapon of the flesh. They cannot win in the coming battle.
Settle your heart on what you are believing for right now. The Lord is going to take you to the place of your vision. There is a flame that has been kindled inside you for this day! Let that burning heart for Jesus flame!
When opportunity arises, now is the time to walk steadily and purposefully into that thing. Jah has given you word to bring down the enemy. You will own the enemies sword (his power, his word) to finish him off! We bring him down with one faith word. We finish him off with a refute of his testimony!
Then, when our enemy is brought down, and his head cut off, we shall own him, rising
his head (his cut off authority)as an encouragement to the children of God!
Join me in this decree:
I shall triumph over ever foe that has bound me. I will face the giant that has stood in taunts against my vision and bring him down with this prophetic word, and I will slay this giant with his own sword! I speak to My enemy and say you are defeated, in the Name of My Lord Jesus. I speak to you and call you defeated in Christ’s blood name. I say the Word of the Lord is exalted in this hour and this ministry is abounding forward to called destiny.
So be it!
Kingdom Prophet, the victory is at hand!

About Goliath's Sword
Goliath's Sword is a Band Located in Marion, IN. It was formed to portray before Israel, (the Church) what can be done by faith in Jah. We the members of the band believe the best way to defeat and enemy, is to disable him by the word, and then destroy him by his own sword.
Of course by using his sword, we are not talking about using the Giants means, of taunting and accusation. We are talking about taking the thing out of his hand that he would have used to destroy you, and then, bringing that thing to the cross, and thereby making that thing, a powerful agent of change in our lives.
There is something that the enemy wields against you that he intends to kill you with. But is the thing evil, or is the enemy (and his lies) the real evil?
You see I believe music can be used for Godly purposes or evil. A certain type of music is not inherently evil. The heart's condition of the musician is the determining factor. Now having said that I must say my personal preference in music is that it would be not overbearingly loud, and that it would carry the message of the King, and His Kingdom.
Now back to the main message here. Joseph's testimony to his brothers, was that "what they meant for evil, Jah meant for good". The use of music to sway the minds of the young has been a constant since the fifties. But we all know that some of the best music written in that time period was found in the Pop, and Rock Genre.
I don't know if Larry Black first originated this question, but it was a timely word from God in the seventies. His query:
“Why should the devil, have all the good music?”
My belief is he should not. Now we since have seen a positive change in church music in the last twenty years. But there is a music that is now coming forth, that will not be just a copy of what the world is doing or has done. It will not be a copy of Israel's great praise under David. That fallen tent has already been restored. The music I speak of is new, vibrant, and will contain elements you will recognize from every expression of faith in the past. But it will be new. It is this music we seek, and promote as a band. It is music of the king, and will establish the kingdom.
Goliath’s Sword’s music is rooted in the sixties and seventies sound. It also incorporates sounds that may be unfamiliar to the church. It is made to bring the listener to a new understanding of the kingdom of God. What we have done is to take something from the enemy’s work in the last thirty–five years in music and church, and turn it into Jah Praise. We are wielding the felled enemy’s, sword-the music he used to steal a generation- and are putting it to use for the expansion of Jah's kingdom here in this day.
The members of this band are lovers of music and Jah. So, as we have noted when we were younger people the enemy used rock music to gain inroads into our lives, we are committed to bring that music through the cross and use it to establish our Lord's present kingdom expression.
As young people we experienced the Rock and Roll explosion in the fifties and sixties and the seventies. In 1978, I gave my life to Jesus. For years after that through influence of the religious church and through the change of life style, that had occurred, I no longer listened to "secular music".
The people I was with in those day's did a pretty good job at convincing me that it would be wrong to continue to listen to what the rest of society was listening to. However, I was led to a life changing moment in which the Lord restored my passion for Rock music. In a coming article I will share about that experience.
